What I did in 2017?
As the year 2017 ending soon, I wished to share what I have done in photography and my progress compared to last year. let's see one by one
Smithsonian Grand Price award Winner
The first thing that came to my mind for this blog is to share about the award I won early 2017 14th Annual Smithsonian photo contest Grand prize winner. I was happy to see that my picture made it to the top more than 48,000 submissions from photographers in 146 countries.
This picture was shot inside Istiqlal mosque, Jakarta during Ramadan month.
I Travelled Iceland early February with my Mentor Andrew JK Tan and other friends. The most memorable moment was walking on Svinafellsjokull glacier, and their Ice is 1000 years old, yes it was so epic to walk at the same time I happened to witness the significant effect of Climate change on melting glaciers.
2017 is definitely a year of Aerial photography which I thought to focus more on for this year together shooting with my favourite DSLR Nikon D810. For aerial imaging and video, I used DJI Phantom 4 Pro You can check this link for my Aerial images.
Charity work
May 2017 I made a trip to Komodo Island in Indonesia. I paid to visit a school in a small village called Richa near Komodo Island and distributed some stationaries with the help of my friend and Guide Endang Tonari. I would also like to Thank specially my friends who supported me giving used cloths and stationaries.

After Three years of doing photography, I wanted to move to next level, where I felt the need for owning my space for showcasing my Portfolio. There are many platforms available, and I used Squarespace for developing my site with the help of open templates. It was so easy to create though I had no experience in webpage designing.
Also, I use Facebook page and Instagram for promoting my work.
My First Blog
Yes, it's my first blog, I have to admit to myself I'm not good at writing, but I don't let that stop me from trying which is why I decided to write and publish. For anyone thinking whether to write now or later Please do it now.
